Michael 6th August 2021

To My Dearest Cousin Ejyke Words failed me on the 13th of July 2021 when you took your final bow and transcended to the World beyond to be with your maker (God). Your life was cut shot and the pain is deep and atimes too hard to bear...still feels like a dream that we are actually planning your burial. Ejike is my maternal Cousin whom I have known since criddle. In hindsight our parents through our grandparents created an enabling environment for all of us to meet and formed very close bond /friendship spanning through decades and contingents. Ejike always wore a disarming smile on his face and has a very amiable and easy going personality, fostered an eclectic relationship spanning all nations. His friends usually will become "family" and reliable. Belie that smily face was a very resilient and determined soul with positive attitude, who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. This qualities came to fore when he was faced with health challenges. These he confronted it with gusto and defiance carried on living life to the fullest, at held down a challenging IT, this I am finding solace in as well as drawing inspirationfrom. Ejike knew every existing Joint in London and ones about to be opened. He had a very broad palette for food and will introduce all of us to them they include but not limited to Jerk Chicken, Aki and Sauce to Efo Riro to Tasty African food just to mention a few. It is not surprising he cooked nice meals too, would conjure a meal at the shortest of notice. Ejike had the natural flare with people and would keep in touch with most of our cousins all over the world. Ejike will also be there at the drop of a pin just a phone call anytime was enough. (Ever so dependable). He was a very good brother, husband and an all round great guy. I can go on and on about you becuase we shared so much such Awesomes MEMORIES to many to enumerate. At the moment Memories are all I am left with.... But I will not morn so much as one without hope as said in bible “Grieve Not as Those Who Have No Hope” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) For you were/are a good man therefore I beleive you're with the Lord...where we meet to part no more Adieu my beloved Cousin So that's it From Mike
